LA Weight Loss

So last week I joined LA Weight loss so that I could get myself looking better. I am going to keep a weekly post going on how that is working out for me. I completed a week on Sunday and I was down five pounds. It is not really a lot of weight but for me it is tons. Now to keep it off. It is very interesting how this works. They give you a journal to keep track of all of the foods that you are eating so that they can help you work though your problem foods. Well in my world all food is a problem so this is going to take a lot of effort to complete. Here is the menu plan that I am on for the first month.

No red meat. No pasta. No potatoes. This will change after the first month.

Breakfast:
1 starch
1 dairy
1/2 protein

Snack AM:
1 fruit

Lunch:
2 starches
1 protein
1 fat
1 vegetable

Snack PM:
1 dairy

Dinner:
1 protein
2 vegetable
1 fruit
1 fat

When I first saw what they wanted me to do I thought that they were crazy. It is so much food to eat in one day. I am always full. But I am still losing weight so it is crazy. I can have all the water and diet drinks that I want. Also sugar free jello. It amazes me how the body can handle a change in diet. I thought that I would be hungry all the tine. I am craving all kinds of food that I can not have at the moment and that were not really a part of my diet before. But I think that happens when someone tells you that you cant have it. That all for now. I will keep you posted on the out come on a weekly basis. Well I will try to.
